Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus: Android 7.0, Fingerprint Sensor, Full HD Display
Just like many other smartphone giant’s, Lenovo-owned Motorola has officially announced the Moto G5 and Moto G5 plus to succeed the Moto G4 and G4 plus series at the year’s biggest tech event, MWC 2017, held in Barcelona.
The Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus feature a 5 inch and 5.2 inch 1920×1080 pixel resolution display respectively. The former is powered by a 1.4 GHz Snapdragon 430 processor while the latter relies on the Snapdragon 625 processor.
RAM and storage will vary by market, up to 3GB RAM and 32GB storage for the Moto G5 and up to 4GB RAM and 64GB storage for the Moto G5 Plus. Both handsets support expansion via microSD up to 128GB.
The two devices come with full metal backs, and fingerprint sensors. The Moto G5 has a 13 megapixel f/2.0 1.1 micron pixels rear camera, while the Moto G5 plus has a 12 megapixel f/1.7 1.4 micron pixels dual autofocus rear camera. Both handsets have the same 5 megapixel f/2.2 1.4 micron pixels camera on the front.
The battery sizes are 2,800mAh and 3,000mAh respectively and adds support fast charging.

Both device will feature some software customizations from Motorola such as Moto Display for notifications and the same gesture support that you find on other Motorola handsets, as well as the recent availableGoogle assistant in the nearest future.
There will be global release starting from next month (march) in fine gold and lunar gray colors. the G5 will carry a price tag of about €199 for the 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage variant, but it won’t be made available in the US. The price for the G5 Plus will start at $229.
