Indian based company, Micromax has added a new budget tablet to the list of growing Canvas Tab series of devices. Dubbed the Micromax Canvas Tab P680, the 8-incher has a premium looking body and is targeted at those who need a tablet for entertainment or other lighter purposes.
Moving to the specs, the Micromax Canvas Tab P680 tablet features a 8-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels (WXGA) with anti-glare coating on it. Under the hood, it is powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz paired with 1GB of RAM and 16GB space of internal storage.
Connectivity options on the device includes – 3G, micro USB, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and USB OTG. On the rear, there is a 5 Megapixels AF camera with Flash, the front camera is a 2 megaapixels fixed focus snapper for selfies and for additional storage space, there is a microSD card slot which accepts cards up to 32GB.
Powered by an ample 4000mAh battery, the Micromax Canvas Tab P680 tablet has Dual SIM slots, Dual Box speakers, full metal body build and runs Android 5.0 Lollipop OS out-of-the-box. The tablet is priced at Rs 9799/- and will be availlable starting 22nd August 2015.
