IFA 2016: Alcatel announce POP 4 tablets and XL smartphone
With the IFA in ‘Bee mode’, Alcatel has announced new POP 4 tablets and XL smartphones. All three are obviously available in three distinct (10.1”, 7” and 6”) sizes, supports ultra-fast 4G LTE connectivity and boasts advanced audio tech thanks to MaxxAudio by Waves.
Packed in a metal body, the Alcatel POP 4 7 and POP 4 10 tablets are powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT8735 and Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processors, respectively. The 7-inch version sports a HD screen resolution while the 10-inch slate has a Full HD one. The rest of the specs are not detailed.
On the other hand, the Alcatel POP 4 6 or the POP XL smartphone has a FHD screen res and 2.5D arc glass; an Octa-core Mediatek Helio (MT6755) P10 processor and supports 4G LTE (Cat.6) networks. The phablet is equipped with a fingerprint sensor (rear), 13MP main camera with LED flash, front 5MP camera with flash and is backed by a 3500mAh battery.
The Alcatel POP 4 tablets and XL smartphones devices will initially be available in MEA and Europe, starting mid-October.
