Alcatel Lume and Go Fi Coming Soon to Canada on Telus
During the week, Alcatel announced the launch of a new Android smartphone and mobile broadband device in Canada. The 4-inch Alcatel Lume (starting October 12th) and Alcatel Go Fi (starting October 7th) will be available from TELUS. The Lume will also be available from Koodo Shops.
In terms of specs, much wasn’t revealed about the Alcatel Lume other than the obviously entry-level 4-inch display and quad-core processor under the hood. It is also wallet-friendly, comes with a number of Polaroid filters (17 different effects and 13 styles of frames) and promises an all-day battery life.
On the other hand, the compact and lightweight Alcatel Go Fi offers up to 150Mbps download speeds and ability to connect up to 15 different Wi-Fi enabled devices. It also comes with a robust battery life – up to seven hours of continuous use and the Alcatel OneTouch Smartlink app is on ground to handle to control connection, track data consumption and others.
Commenting on the launch, President and General Manager for Alcatel, North America, Steve Cistulli said; ”
Staying connected should be simple and affordable to all consumers, and with the introduction of LUME and GO FI to Canada with TELUS and Koodo, we’re continuing our mission of making great technology accessible to all.”
