Apple Debuts (PRODUCT) RED iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus Special Edition; New 9.7-inch iPad
Last week, Apple announced a new colour variant of the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. The introduction of the (PRODUCT) RED iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus marks Apple’s 10-year partnership with (RED), which supports HIV/AIDS program. The device comes in a new Red finish and either 128GB or 256GB storage models but has the same specs, feature as original models.
Pricing for this Special Edition device starts at $749 and a portion of sales proceeds will go towards the Global Fund to fight AIDS. The company is also offering cases, headphones, Apple Watch bands and more in (Product) Red styling.
Apple iPad 2017 (9.7-inch)
Apple also announced a new 9.7-inch iPad (2017) to replace the iPad Air 2 (2014). The slate retains the 9.7-inch Retina display but now powered by a more recent A9 chip and boots iOS 10. The rest specs include – 32/128GB storage , Touch ID fingerprint sensor, rear 8MP f/2.4 camera, HD Facetime camera and 32.4-watt-hour rechargeable Li-Po battery.
The Wi-Fi only models costs $329 and $429 for the 32GB and 128GB variants (respectively) while the Wi-Fi + Cellular one costs $459 and $559 for each. It has gone on pre-order on Apple.com and will go on sale via Apples stores, select carriers and Authorized Resellers in the US and more than 20 countries.
Apple iPhone SE (32GB and 128GB)
Apple also released new storage variant of the iPhone SE by doubling it’s current capacities. The 4.7-inch device will now be available in 32GB and 128GB storage variants but will keep the same specs as the original model. Starting March 24, it will be available in Gold, Rose Gold, Silver and Space Grey colours.
