ARCHOS 101 Saphir Rugged 2-in-1 Tablet with Android 7.0
Alongside the two new Graphite series smartphones, ARCHOS will also showcase its first ever rugged 2-in-1 tablet – the ARCHOS 101 Saphir at the MWC 2017 in Barcelona, Spain. The new slate, aimed at outdoor enthusiasts such as riders and hikers, comes with Android 7.0 Nougat OS, detachable keyboard and equipped with the USB Type C port.
The ARCHOS 101 Saphir has a 10.1-inch (1280 x 800 pixels) IPS display and a very rugged casing which is IP54 certified (dust and water splashes) and can survive drops up to 1 metre. It is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT8163 processor clocked at 1.5GHz with ARM Mali-T720 MP2 GPU and 1GB RAM.
It packs a rear facing 5MP camera, 5MP front camera, 16GB built-in storage, a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 128GB and a long lasting 6000mAh battery. Connectivity options on the slate include – WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. It also has a micro HDMI port.
The ARCHOS 101 Saphir measures 181 x 265.4 x 13.4mm in dimensions, weighs 0.6kg and has dual stereo speakers. Pricing will be detailed when it launches sometime in June this year.
