ASUS Zenfone 3 Max with 3GB RAM and 4100mAh Battery Launched
Complementing the Zenfone 3 series; ASUS announced the Max variant of the Zenfone 3 along with Zenfone 3 Laser in Vietnam. Known for their high capacity batteries, the ASUS Zenfone 3 Max is backed by a 4100mAh battery but is smaller compared to the 5000mAh on the original Zenfone Max.
Like most devices today, the ASUS Zenfone 3 Max has an all metal body build and sports a 5.2-inch IPS touchscreen display with 2.5D Arc glass design and 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD) screen resolution. The choice of processor is unknown but it has 3GB of RAM and 32GB built-in storage space.
The main snapper is a 13 MP ‘PixelMaster’ 3.0 camera with Sony IMX214 sensor, f/2.0 and Electronic Image Stabilisation (EIS). While the front camera is not stated but is speculated to be a 5MP snapper; there is a fingerprint scanner onboard with 0.2 second unlock time.
The ASUS Zenfone Max is expected to last up to 30 days of standby time, runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with Zen UI and supports reverse charging, meaning, it can serve as a Power Bank for charging other mobile devices. It is priced at 4,490,000 Vietnamese Dong (US$ 201) in Glacier Silver, Sand Gold and Titanium Gray.
