Asus Zenpad 10: WXGA screen, Quad-core SoC, 4890mAh battery
Back in June, Asus announced the Zenpad series of tablets including the Asus Zenpad 10 but information about this particular model was scarce. The company brought along the tablet along with several other products to the IFA 2015.
The Asus Zenpad 10 has a detachable keyboard which also serves as the cover and as the name suggests it has a 10.1-inch display. The resolution of the display is 1280 x 800 pixels (WXGA) and the outer plastic body is available in Black and White colour.
The tablet is powered by an Intel Atom quad-core 64-bit processor with the option of either 1GB or 2GB RAM and either 16GB or 32GB space of internal storage. There is a microSD card slot for expansion and with support for cards up to 64GB.
The tablet has a 5MP rear facing camera and a front facing 2MP camera with both handling photography. The Asus Zenpad 10 has an audio experience that is enhanced by the two front facing speakers with DTS HD Premium Sound as well as Sonic Master technology.
Running Android 5.0 Lollipop OS with the ZEN UI ontop, the Asus measures 251.6 x 172 x 7.9 mm in dimensions, weighs
500 grams and is backed by a 4980mAh battery which is expected to keep it on for almost 5 hours.
