ASUS ZenPad C 7.0 (Z171KG) with Entry-Level Specs, 3480mAh Battery
The ASUS ZenPad C 7.0 is the latest ZenPad in town. The entry-level tablet (or phablet if you may like) comes pre-installed with Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with Zen UI on top and sports a 7-inch (1024 x 600 pixels) WSVGA IPS display (16:9 aspect ratio) with Asus’ TruVivid technology, 178-degree viewing angle and 77% screen-to-body ratio.
To protect the display and deliver better appearance, the ASUS ZenPad C 7.0 (Z171KG) uses an ergonomic arc design with rounded curved edges and decorative metallic frame coating with NCVM (Non Conductive Vacuum Metallization) technology.
On the inside, it relies on a seemingly competent quad-core processor from Qualcomm paired along with 1GB of RAM and 8GB built-in expandable storage space (up to 128GB via microSD). Depending on the market, it has either a rear facing 8 megapixel or 5 megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture alongside a front facing 2 megapixel camera.
With Dual SIM slots onboard, the ASUS ZenPad C 7.0 (Z171KG) supports 2G and 3G networks, and makes voice calls. It also come with 100GB of free Google cloud storage for two years and backed by a 3480mAh battery with a reported 735 hrs of standby time and 20hrs of talk-time (3G).
