Coolpad Note 5 with FHD display, SD617 SoC, 4010mAh Battery
Coolpad has today announced a new smartphone in the Note series in India. Called the Coolpad Note 5, the new mid-tier phablet device is available exclusively on Amazon India (via open sale from October 18th) for a price tag of Rs. 10999 (US$ 165) in Grey and Gold colours.
Running Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Cool UI, the Coolpad Note 5 has a full metal unibody design, sports a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD laminated display with screen resistant glass and backed by a 4010mAh battery, that provides up to 14 hours of talk time and 350 hours standby time.
On the inside, it is equipped with a 64-bit Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor clocked at 1.5GHz with 4GB of RAM and 32GB built-in storage space, which is expandable up to 64GB via microSD. In the camera segment, there is a rear facing 13MP f/2.2 camera with 5P lens and Dual LED flash.
The front selfie camera is a 8MP snapper with f/2.2 aperture, LED flash and a 80.1-degree wide angle lens. Available connectivity options include – 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and USB OTG.
The Coolpad Note 5 packs an Hybrid Dual SIM slot, measures 152 x 75.7 x 8.85 mm in dimensions, weighs in at 173.4 grams and the rear placed fingerprint sensor has a 0.1s unlock time.
