Doogee F5 with FHD screen, Octa-core SoC, 3GB RAM and Android 5.1 launched for $140
Initially called the Doogee F2015, Doogee finally released the Doogee F5 smartphone. There has been much hype around the device with the company continuously pushing out details about the device to build the momentum.
Running Android Lollipop OS with the company’s UI ontop, the Doogee F5 has a 5.5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (FHD). Doogee decided to go with Liquid metal for the body build which should give the device a sturdy body, a premium build and a longer shelf-life.
On the back, the device has a 13MP camera which is interpolated to take up to 16MP photos and the front facing 5MP camera has also been interpolated to take up to 8MP photos. Below the main camera on the back lies the fingerprint scanner and the device supports 13 bands on 2G, 3G and 4G networks.
The Doogee F5 is powered by an octa-core Mediatek MT6753 processor which is a 64-bit one paired with 3GB of RAM and 16GB space of internal storage. There is a microSD card for storage expansion and a 3000mAh battery that will provide power for 2 – 3 days depending on usage.
