dtac Phone X3 Debuts with Dual Rear Cameras, Android 7.0
Thailand’s second largest GSM mobile phone provider, Total Access Communication Public Company Limited aka DTAC has announced a new branded smartphone – the dtac Phone X3. The device will arrive in Metallic Black and Metallic Gold, for a price tag of 5,690 Thai Baht (US$ 165).
Pre-installed with Android 7.0 Nougat OS, the dtac Phone X3 sports a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD IPS LCD display with a rounded 2.5D glass and backed by a long lasting 3000mAh battery with fast charging. It measures 7.08 thick, relies on an octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz with 3GB of RAM and 32GB built-in expandable storage.
In the camera segment, there is a rear facing 13MP AF camera with Dual LED flash aided by a secondary 2MP camera for capturing depth of field data for interesting bokeh effects. The front camera is a front 8MP f/2.0 camera with Beauty mode. It also supports 4G LTE (Cat. 4) networks as well as Voice over LTE (VoLTE), Bluetooth and Wi-Fi 802.11n. The fingerprint scanner is embedded into the home button.
The company also launched the dtac Phone S3 (2,790 Thai Baht – US$ 81) and dtac Phone T3 (3,990 Thai baht – US$ 116). Both devices also boot Android 7.0 Nougat OS, support 4G LTE connectivity as well as Voice over LTE (VoLTE) and arrives in Metallic black and Metallic Gold colour options.
The dtac Phone S3 sports a 5.0-inch FWVGA IPS 2.5D display, 1.1GHz Quad Core processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB storage space, front 5MP camera with Beauty mode, rear 8MP f/2.0 camera with LED flash and a 200mAh battery. While the dtac Phone T3 on the other hand has a 5.3-inch HD IPS 2.5D display, 2GB RAM, 16GB built-in storage, 1.25GHz Quad Core processor, rear 13MP camera with Tri-LED flash, front 8MP camera with Beauty Mode, and a 200mAh battery.
