Infinix Mobility is preparing to debut another smartphone in Nigeria (if my sources are correct); the device in question is the Infinix Hot Note. It would be a phablet version of the Infinix Hot with some more advanced features and has a metal body finish.
The Infinix Hot Note features a 5.5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD display, powered by an octa-core Mediatek Processor clocked at 1.4GHz with 1GB of RAM and 16GB space of internal storage.
A 8MP camera with OV8865 Image sensor and captures HD video at 30fps. The front camera is a 2MP unit with 75-degree wide angle viewing for taking selfies.
Overall, the Infinix Hot Note would run on Android 4.4 Kitkat OS and supports Dual SIM (3G + 2G) compatibility. Connectivity options on the device would include – Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Hotspot and 3G. It measures just 8.9mm in thickness and weighs 172 grams.
Overall, a 4000mAh battery powers the device which would guarantee two days of interrupted unlimited usage: 600 hours of standby time, 21 hours of talktime and 8 hours of video playback time. The battery is also said to come with super charging ability which would see 75% of the battery charge within one hour.
The Infinix Hot Note is available in Anthracite Grey, Mint Green, Champagne Gold and Copper Brown. It would be available in Nigeria at first from Konga which has been the case with the Zero and Hot smartphones.
