General Mobile GM 6 Android One Smartphone With 13MP PDAF Camera
Earlier today at the MWC 2017 in Barcelona, General Mobile announced a new budget 4G LTE Android One smartphone – the General Mobile GM 6. It is the fourth smartphone from the Google-owned program and follow-up to the GM 5 & GM 5 Plus. Details on pricing and availability are not available yet.
The General Mobile GM 6 has a sports a 5-inch Oncell IPS 2.5D display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection and a front home button placed fingerprint sensor. It relies on a quad-core Mediatek MT6737 processor clocked at 1.5GHz paired with Mali-T720 GPU, 3GB of RAM and 32GB built-in storage.
For additional storage space, there is a microSD card slot for expansion up to 128GB. It supports 4G LTE connectivity as well as Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS options. The GM 6 measures 144 x 71.3 x 8.6 mm in dimensions, weighs 150 grams and draws energy from a 3000mAh battery.
Photography is handled by a rear facing 13MP AF camera with Dual LED flash and 1080p Full HD video recording. The front camera is a front 8MP camera with LED flash. The General Mobile GM 6 runs Android 7.0 Nougat OS and arrives in either Single or Dual SIM variants. Gold, Rose Gold and Space Grey are the available colour options.
