Haier Haierpad W700 tablet with 7-inch screen and Windows 10 OS costs €99.99
Chinese OEM, Haier has announced a 7-inch Windows OS tablet – Haier Haierpad W700. The device which was showed off at the long concluded IFA 2015 in Berlin around Early September, has a recommended retail price of €99.99 and would be available in Europe in Black, Blue and White colours.
Moving to the specs, the Haier Haierpad W700 sports a 7-inch TN display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels (WSVGA) and plastic body build. It is is powered by an Intel Atom Z3735F quad-core processor paired with Intel Gen 7 GPU, 1GB of RAM and 16GB internal native storage space.
Running Windows 10 OS, the Haierpad W700 has a front facing 0.3MP camera, rear facing 2MP camera, a microSD card slot for storage expansion (up to 32GB) and equivalent mobile office is onboard. The slate measures 188 x 107.6 x 8.8mm in dimensions, weighs 220 grams and has a built-in speaker.
Connectivity options on the Haier Haierpad W700 includes – Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 3.5mm audio jack, micro HDMI port, and micro USB 2.0 port. The tablet is backed by a rechargeable 2600mAh polymer battery which is tipped to provide 6 hours of usage and 6 days of standby time.
The Haier Haierpad W700 will launch in Europe by October 2015 but there is no mention of any worldwide release or other markets.
