IFA 2015: Alcatel OneTouch Pixi 3 (10) Tablet debuts with Dual-core SoC, Android 5.0 and 4060mAh battery
Along with the entry-level Pixi First phone, Alcatel OneTouch has announced an entry-level tablet in the same PIXI series to go along with it. Dubbed the Alcatel OneTouch Pixi 3 (10), the voice calling slate ships in either 3G or Wi-Fi only models and is available in Black and White colours choices.
Commenting on the launch, the General Manager of Smart Connectitivity at Alcatel OneTouch, Vittorio Di Mauro said,
“Our PIXI line is all about making your own choice at an affordable price. The new PIXI 3 10-inch tablet does just that, offering a complete range of choices on display size and connectivity.”
So what does the entry-level Alcatel OneTouch Pixi 3 (10) tablet has in stock? Well it runs Android 5.0 Lollipop OS, rocks a 10.1-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels (WXGA), 1GB of RAM and the processor doesn’t get better than a 32-bit dual-core Mediatek MT8127 clocked at 1.3GHz.
The tablet draws it’s power from a 4060mAh battery, and for handling photography there is a front facing 2MP camera for video chats or maybe selfies if the tablet is not too huge for you and rear facing 5MP main camera unlikely with flash.
The company also made mention of the Alcatel OneTouch Pixi 3 (7) and Pixi 3 (8) which should go official at later dates and would be available in LTE, 3G and Wi-Fi Models.
