Moto G4 Play with 5-inch HD display, 4G LTE and 2800mAh
Along with the Moto G4 and G4 Plus smartphone, Lenovo also took the wraps off the Moto G4 Play – a budget 4G smartphone with 5-inch display to accompany the other duo in the Moto G4 family. Although no word on pricing yet the device will be available in the Summer of 2016.
Also sporting a Water Repellent Nano Coated body like the G4 and G4 Plus, the Moto G4 Play measures 144.4 x 72 x 8.95 – 9.9 mm in dimensions, weighs 137 grams and features a 5-inch display with 1280 x 720 pixels (HD) screen resolution resulting in a pixel desnity of 294 ppi.
On the inside, the G4 Play uses the same quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor used on the 3rd Gen Moto G along with 2GB of RAM, 16GB built-in storage space and runs Stock Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS. It is equipped with Dual SIM slots and a microSD card for storage expanion (up to 128GB).
For photography, there is a rear facing 8MP camera with LED flash and a front 5MP camera for selfies; both cameras have f/2.2 aperture. Connectivity options on the device includes – 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 LE and GPS. The Moto G4 Play derives energy from a 2800mAh battery which supports quick charging.
