What You Know About the MTN XtraBytes
Users are be able to borrow data bundles from 10MB all the way up to 750MB and a 10-percent service charge is placed on every transaction. Let’s say a user borrows 100MB worth of XtraByte data with a 24-hour validity at N200, the subscriber gets to pay N220 (N200 + N20) when making repayment.

How to Qualify for MTN XtraBytes
To enjoy this service the subscriber must be:
- Active on the network for more than 3 months;
- Have account balance must be between N0 and N12.
Some of the positives is that the user gets to secure data immediately once their current plan expires and it also eliminates the need to first borrow airtime before recharging.
One downside however is, one pays more (10-percent more) than the original cost of the data bundle and the validity of these bundles are so that the user will always come back for more (from 24 hours/1 Day to 7 days/1 week).
