New TAG Heuer Android Wear 2.0 Smartwatch Set for March 14 Debut
Swiss watchmaker, TAG Heuer is continuing it’s journey in the smartwatch market with the launch of a new product based on Android Wear 2.0. The company has been releasing teaser for the launch of the sequel to last year’s TAG Heuer Connected smartwatch scheduled to happen on March 14.
According to unnamed sources, the TAG Heuer Android Wear 2.0 smartwatch announcement will happen in the next 72 hrs (March 14). The new watch will run the latest Google’s OS for Wearables launched in February and is expected to be named TAG Connected Modular (or TAG Heuer Connected Modular).
Not much is known about the TAG Connected Modular except that it would have some unique features including Android Pay support, GPS and maybe 4G LTE. It is said to be a hybrid smartwatch, allowing users switch between digital and automatic clock mode. It will have a brighter screen and be fuly customisable, featuring a variety of interchangeable straps and clasps.
