OnePlus 3 launched with Snapdragon 820, 6GB of RAM and Without Invite Sale
Unveiled in a virtual reality based launch, OnePlus has announced the OnePlus 3 smartphone. The company’s latest flagship has everything you would expect from a modern day high-end Android smartphone – capable display, premium design, fast processor, and good camera. It is available directly from OnePlus without Invite for $399 (EUR 399 / Rs. 27,999) unlocked.
Running Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS (OxygenOS 3.1.1) and packed in a sturdy premium looking full aluminium metal body build; the OnePlus 3 sports a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) FHD AMOLED display, powered by a Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor with 6GB of RAM and is backed by a 3000mAh battery.
The device has Dual SIM slots, 64GB built-in storage space which happens to be non-expandable and uses the USB Type-C port for charging. The rest of the key specs includes – Rear 16 MP camera with F/2.0, OIS and Dual tone flash, 8MP front facing camera, Fingerprint Sensor, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, 4G LTE and NFC.
The OnePlus 3 corrects some of the mistakes of the OnePlus 2 by supporting both NFC and Quick Charging. The company’s Dash Charging (Quick Charging) provides up to 60% charge in 30 minutes and does not heat up the device when used while charging. It will be available in Graphite Grey and Gold colours.
OnePlus is also selling optional back cases for the OnePlus 3 with options to choose from Bamboo, Black Apricot, Kevlar, Rosewood and Sandstone. The 5V-2A charger is also sold separately.
