OnePlus 3T Announced: Snapdragon 821, 16MP front and rear cameras
OnePlus has officially announced the OnePlus 3T – an upgraded version of the OnePlus 3, with the most refined version of OxygenOS yet, onboard. It retains most of the design footprint of the OnePlus 3 and has been confirmed to get Android Nougat later this year
Still using the same aluminium unibody design, the OnePlus 3T sports a 5.5-inch Full HD Optic AMOLED display with 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection, Dual Nano SIM slots and backed by a 3000mAh battery with Dash Charge.
On the inside, the device relies on the faster Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor along with 6GB LPDDR4 RAM and a new 128GB (UFS 2.0) storage option to go along with the original 64GB option. It also comes with a fingerprint sensor, dual microphone for noise cancellation, NFC, and USB Type-C port.
In the camera segment, there is a rear facing 16MP camera with Sony IMX298 sensor, f/2.0 aperture, OIS, EIS 2.0, PDAF, and 4K video recording at 30 fps alongside a similar 16MP camera with Samsung 3P8SP sensor, f/2.0 aperture, PDAF and 1080p video recording for selfies and video chats.
Available in Soft Gold and Gunmetal colours, the OnePlus 3T starts at US$ 439 / EUR 439 / GBP 399 for the 64GB version while the 128GB version is priced at US$ $479. It is expected to go on sale through OnePlus.net starting on November 22 in the US and November 28th in Europe.
