Vernee Apollo X The First To Be Powered By VOS (Vernee OS)
Few weeks ago, Vernee showed off new smartphone models from its forthcoming product line for this year at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017 in Barcelona, Spain. The Vernee Apollo X, one of the devices showcased, will officially launch this month and come pre-installed with VOS (Vernee OS).
The Vernee Apollo X is the brand’s first product for 2017 and the first ever to come pre-loaded with VOS, the company’s proprietary skin based on Android. The design philosophy behind Vernee’s Operating System is also said to be similar to Android and the user experience is very close to stock Android.
This new entrant to Vernee’s high end Apollo Series is powered by last year’s Mediatek Helio X20 Deca-Core processor (2 x Cortex-A72 @ 2.3GHz; 4 x Cortex-A53 @ 1.85GHz; and 4 x Cortex-A53 @ 1.4GHz) which might not be as powerful as the Helio X25 or Helio X30, however, it is capable of holding the forth when it comes to performance and power consumption.
Sporting a metal unibody design, the Vernee Apollo X sports a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Sharp Full HD display, 64GB built-in storage space and a 3500mAh battery. So far, this is all we know about the device but we expect that to change in coming weeks when the company officially announces the device.
