Vivo Xplay 6 Debuts with 5.46-inch display, SD820 SoC, 6GB RAM, Dual Cameras
Just about a day after launch of the Vivo V5 in India, the Chinese company has made the Vivo Xplay 6 official. The high-end smartphone in the Xplay series is powered by a Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and packs up to 6GB of RAM like the OnePlus 3T, Huawei Mate 9 Pro and Xiaomi Mi Mix.
Housed in an 8.4mm thin full metal body with ushaped antenna, the Vivo Xplay 6 sports a 5.46-inch Quad HD AMOLED display with Dual Curved Edge display, Dual SIM slots, and a 4080mAH battery with fast charging. It boots Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with Funtouch OS 3.0 and pack a Fingerprint sensor.
The device makes use of a Dual main camera setup – a primary 12MP camera with Sony IMX362 sensor, f/1.7 aperture, 4-axis OIS and PDAF (0.03s focus time) plus a secondary 5MP camera for capturing depth information. The front selfie camera is a 16MP camera with f/2.0 aperture.
The Vivo Xplay 6 has 128GB (UFS 2.0) built-in storage space and supports 4G+ networks with Voice Over LTE (VoLTE). It measures 153.8x 73.55x 8.4mm in dimensions, weighs in at 178 grams and audiophiles will be happy with the fact that the device has both ES9038 DAC and OPA1622 amplifier.
In terms of pricing, the Xplay 6 is priced at CNY 4498 (US$ 654) and arrives in Gold and Rose Gold colors. Pre-orders are underway in China.
