ZTE Blade V8 with 4GB RAM, Android 7.0 Debuts in China
China Telecom has commenced sales of the ZTE Blade V8 with 4GB RAM in its home country. The device adopts an all metal body design with diamond cut edges and packs a 2730mAh battery. It is currently selling for CNY 1999 (~ US$ 290) via the carrier and arrives in Dark Night Ash and Flash Silver colour options.
The highlight of the ZTE Blade V8 is its rear dual camera setup – a primary 13MP camera and secondary 2MP camera. The setup allows the user combines photos from different angles to create high-quality 3D photos and add pro effects such as the background blur (bokeh).
The Blade V8 relies on an 1.4GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 processor, runs Android 7.0 Nougat OS with the company’s MiFavor 4.2 UI. It sports a 5.2-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD display with 2.5D curved edge glass, front facing 13MP snapper with front camera flash, Dual Nano SIM slots, fingerprint sensor(home button based) and 64GB built-in storage.
The ZTE Blade V8 supports 4G LTE (Cat. 6 and LTE-A) with VoLTE as well as Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, micro USB and NFC Type A / B. The model on sale in China has 4GB of RAM and 64GB built-in storage space instead of the 2GB or 3GB RAM option and 32GB storage space presented at the CES 2017.
