India (Bangalore) based OEM, Notion Ink has announced a new 2-in-1 hybrid Laptop which could also double as a tablet. The Notion Ink Cain as the laptop is called, is created in partnership with Intel and Microsoft.
The Notion Ink Cain features a 10.1-inch WXVGA (1280×800 pixels) IPS LCD display with 10-point multi-touch, powered by an Intel Atom Z3735D (4 core, 4 threads, 1.33GHz base clock, up to 1.83GHz burst, 2MB cache) processor with integrated Intel HD Graphics (up to 646MHz), and 2GB of DDR3L RAM. The device houses 32GB of inbuilt storage and a microSD card slot for expansion.
The slate is said to come preloaded with a year of Microsoft Office 365 subscription and has Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, USB 3.0 as connectivity suite. The Notion Ink Cain runs on Windows 8.1 and is powered by a 7900mAh battery which is touted to deliver 10 hours of internet surfing & 7 hours of video playback.
