Known for its affordable tablet offerings, Chinese tablet maker, Chuwi has announced Chuwi eBook tablet – a 10-inch sized Dual OS Boot tablet with stylus support. It is currently selling for around $171 to $200 on third-party retail websites.
Running both Android 4.4 Kitkat OS and Windows 8.1 OS; the Chuwi eBook sports a 10.1-inch IPS capacitive Electromagnetic touchscreen display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixel and Stylus pen support. A front facing 2MP camera and a rear facing 5MP OV AutoFocus camera is onboard.
The tablet is powered by a quad-core Intel Atom Z3736F processor clocked up to 2.16GHz with 2GB RAM, 32GB built-in storage and a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 32GB. It dons a plastic body build, measures 261.7 x 175 x 10.9mm in dimensions, weighs 0.75kg (750g) in size and is backed by a 8000mAh Li-ion battery.
The Chuwi eBook comes with a HanWang ES4 Pen with 1024 level 3D Pressure and can be used for drawing, note takings, for use in Microsoft Office apps and more. Connectivity options on the tablet includes – Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Micro HDMI port, micro USB port, Bluetooth 4.0, USB OTG and supports external 3G module.
