Innjoo is already a household name in Nigeria as well as the other countries, the device manufacturer sells it’s products in. The company has just listed up the Innjoo W1, a new series of tablet entirely; it is basically an entry-level budget based tablet running Android OS and has a large 10-inch display.
The Innjoo W1 sports a 10.1-inch IPS capacitive touchscreen display with good wide angle views and a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels (WSVGA), powered by a quad-core Mediatek processor clocked at 1.3GHz paired with Mali-400 MP2 GPU, 512MB of RAM and 16GB native storage space.
The tablet has front and rear facing 0.3MP (VGA) cameras and for more storage, there is a microSD card slot for expansion up to 32GB. Connectivity options available includes – Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, microUSB 2.0 and USB OTG but no SIM card slot thus no support for cellular connectivity.
Running Android 4.4 Kitkat OS, the Innjoo W1 measures 257 x 152 x 10.8mm in dimensions, weighs 532 grams and is backed by a 4500mAh Polymer battery which is expected to provide up to 9 hours of web-surfing (Wi-Fi) and around 5 hours of video playback.
The tablet is available in Black, White and Gold colour options but there is no word yet on pricing.
