LG has officially confirmed the 10-inch LG G Pad II tablet will launch at the upcoming IFA 2015 event in Berlin, Germany. The company quietly launched a 8-inch version of the G Pad II in South Korea last week
Like the name suggests, the 10-inch LG G Pad II has a 10.1-inch display with a resolution of 1200 x 1920 (WUXGA) and a pixel density of around 224ppi. Under the hood, the tablet is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor clocked at 2.26GHz with Adreno 330 GPU.
Along the processor, the device has 2GB of RAM and 16GB space of internal storage with a microSD card lot for storage expanion. The tablet has a front 2MP camera and rear 5MP camera, runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS, backed by a 7400mAh battery and is available in Bronze Colour option.
The tablet comes pre-installed with Microsoft Office and users get up to 100GB of free OneDrive storage for two years. The tablet also has Reader Mode, Dual Window and Quick Memo+ features.
LG is expected to announce the pricing and availability details of the 10-inch LG G Pad 2 at the event. There are two variant of the table – a Wi-Fi only and Wi-Fi + LTE version which would debut in Asia, Europe and North America.
