Chinese Manufacturer, Vido has announced a new Windows tablet which comes with a detachable keyboard which makes it double as a laptop when attached. The tablet is the Vido W11X which runs Windows 8.1 OS and uses an Intel Core M processor.
Elaborating on the processor, the Vido W11X uses the Intel Core M 5Y10C processor which clocks at 2.0GHz with Intel HD Graphics 5300, 4GB LPDDR3 RAM and 128GB SSD Hard drive. The slate uses a 11.6-inch display with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels resolution.
Other specs features includes a TF Card slot, HDMI output, 3.5mm audio jack and there is an unspecified front and rear cameras on-board. Connectivity options on the device includes – USB 3.0, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. There is no word on the battery capacity.
Even though the Vido W11X currently runs Windows 8.1 OS; it is said to be upgradeable to Windows 10 OS when it becomes available. Users would also be able to take advantage of the USB 3.0 port to enable accessories such as a wired mouse, keyboard, and other relevant device to be connected. There is no word on pricing and when the slate would be available but it sure looks super cool with its aluminium body.
