Uber isn’t the traditional taxi service company, the San Francisco based ride-sharing startup connects passengers and Uber-contracted drivers nearest to their location via the Uber app on their smartphones.
How Uber Works
The way Uber works is pretty simple, all that is needed is a smartphone and the Uber app. The passenger calls for a car through the smartphone running the Uber app and a contracted driver is called to the scene to take the passenger to their prefered destination.
There is necessarily no cash exchange between the driver and passenger as the fare is automatically from the latter’s credit card details and an automated receipt is likewise issued.
