Following Nokia’s well-documented successful return to the mobile device market with the China bound Nokia 6; the brand could be looking to release a massive 18-inch Android Nougat Tablet to its device lineup, if this listing on GFXBench Benchmark is to go by.
Spotted running Android 7.0 Nougat (Android FIH Edition), the Nokia Android Tablet sports a sizeable 18.4-inch display with a screen resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels (WQHD) and 64GB built-in storage space (out of which 52GB is reserved for the user). It has a rear facing 12MP AutoFocus camera with LED flash and a front facing 12MP camera. Both set of cameras are capable of recording 4K UHD videos.
The slate is powered by the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 octa-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz paired with Adreno 540 GPU and 4GB of RAM. Connectivity and sensor options available include – NFC, Wi-Fi, Gyroscope, Pedometer, Accelerometer, Proximity, Bluetooth, GPS, and Compass.
The 18-inch Nokia Android Tablet is expected to compete against the likes of the Samsung Galaxy View and Alcatel OneTouch Xess, which are both focused on delivering quality entertainment. While we will continue to keep tabs on this device, we should know more when it lands on TENAA for certification in China.
