360 Mobiles has announced the launch of the Pro and Lite editions of the 360 N7 in Beijing, China. The new N7 series smartphones – 360 N7 Pro and 360 N7 Lite – have the same 5.99-inch (2160 x 1080 pixels) FHD+ IPS display with 450 nits of brightness and 1500:1 contrast ratio.
Both devices come equipped with rear fingerprint sensors and boot Android Oreo OS with 360 OS 3.0 on top.
360 N7 Pro
The N7 Pro is packed in a 7.7mm thin body with CNC metal frame and double-sided 2.5D glass design (front and rear) with NCVM vacuum coating. It packs the relatively new Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor with 6GB of RAM and either 64GB or 128GB storage variants.
In the camera section, the device has 12MP + 20MP dual rear cameras and 16MP + 2MP dual front camera with professional-grade depth of field lens. The cameras have AI features such as AI Anti-Blur, AI Beauty, AI smart exposure, Background blurring and more.
Other AI-based functions on the smartphone include AI Image translation and AI Voice translation. The 360 N7 Pro offers ‘Face Recognition App Lock’, ‘Guest System’, and a specially designed ‘U Shield’ function created by 360 and Ziguang Guowei.
The ‘U Shield’ feature, which raises the security level to those used in the finance industry, is a combo of physical lock plus a secondary authentication chip and an EAL4 Security level software and hardware. It comes pre-loaded with Android Oreo OS with 360 OS 3.0.
The 360 N7 Pro is backed by a 4,000mAh battery and comes bundled with a 18W fast charger. It charges via the USB Type C (2.0) port and retains its 3.5mm jack. Pricing starts at CNY 1,999 (USD 292) for the 6GB + 64GB model and CNY 2,299 (USD 336) for the 6GB + 128GB variant.
360 N7 Lite
The N7 Lite is based on the Snapdragon 660 AIE octa-core processor paired with the option of either 4GB or 6GB of RAM and 32GB, 64GB or 128GB storage variants. Power is supplied by a 4,050mAh battery with 9V/2A fast charging, which is expected to deliver more than a day of usage.
The device also has a front 8MP (f/2.2) camera for selfies and 13MP + 2MP dual rear cameras with AI features. In terms of pricing, the 4GB + 32GB variant is on sale for CNY 1,199 (USD 175); 4GB + 64GB variant for CNY 1,499 (USD 219) and 6GB + 64GB for CNY 1799 (USD 263).
