Sharp has so far been making beautiful phone; while the newly introduced Sharp Aquos SH-M01 is no different; availability of the device outside it’s home country Japan is one issues users haven’t really gotten over with.
In terms of specifications, design, performance and features the Aquos SH-M01 excels in this aspects. It comes with a 4.5-inch 1080p Full HD LCD IGZO display resulting in a pixel density of 487ppi.
Under the hood, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 MSM8974 chipset, which uses quad-core 2.2GHz CPU powers the device; with Adreno 330 GPU and 2GB of RAM alongside 16GB of internal storage. On the rear is a 13.1MP camera with f/1.9 aperture, LED flash and a front facing 1.2MP camera.
Connectivity options on the Sharp Aquos SH-M01 includes – Miracast, DTS Sound, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS, DLNA, Wi-Fi Direct, 2G GSM, 3G WCDMA and 4G LTE Cat. 4.
The Sharp Aquos SH-M01 measures 63 x 128 x 9.9mm, weighs 120 grams (battery included), runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat OS and powered by a 2120mAh battery. The company did not reveal any pricing information but the device is expected to be available in Japan by December 2014.
