Oregon based US Electronics manufacturer, InFocus has announced a High end android InFocus M810 smartpone for the taiwanese market. The company in partnership with Hon Hai Precision Industry Co. will make the smartphone available in the market. Hon Hai Precision Industry Co is one of Apple’s major contractor that also assembles iPhones and iPads.
Moving to the specs details, the InFocus M810 features a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD IPS display, powered by a quad-core Qualcomm snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.5GHz with Adreno 430 GPU, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of inbuilt storage and a microSD card slot for expansion.
There is also a 13-megapixels rear facing camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixels front facing camera for selfies and video chats. The M810 measures 153.7 x 76.2 x 6.9mm in dimensions, weighs 156 grams in size, boots Android 4.4.2 Kitkat OS out-of-the box and is backed by a non-removable 2600mAh battery.
Connectivity options on the device includes the full connectivity suite including 4G LTE Cat 4/3G HSPA+, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS and micro USB 2.0 port.
The InFocus M810 is expeced to be available in Black and Gold colour variants; the device has been placed with a price tag of NT $ 9,988 (~ $333 US/ ₦54,000/ €249) in Taiwan. The device would be available on the InFocus’ official online store the country starting July 31st.
