Earlier this month, IUNI in a series of videos on Weibo teased the specs and announcement date of its upcoming smartphone, the IUNI U3. IUNI is a sub brand of Gionee and the U3 would mark their second ever phone made after the U2.
The IUNI U3 features a 5.5-inch 1440p QHD display made by Sharp resulting in a pixel density of 538ppi. Under the hood is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 Soc with 2.5GHz quad-core CPU, Adreno 330 GPU, and 3GB of RAM. The device also has 32GB of internal storage. The device has 13MP main camera with OIS (optical image stabilisation) and Sony Sensor and the front camera is same as that of the HTC One M7 – a 4MP Ultrapixel camera.
The IUNI U3 supports Dual-SIM. And 4G LTE functionality. The device also has Bluetooth, Wifi, GPS and other standard connectivity options. It runs on a skinned version of the Android 4.4 Kitkat OS and powered by a 3000mAh battery.
