Karbonn has launched a new smartphone into the market, a variant of the high end Karbonn Titanium S9 released last year and following in the line of Titanium S series, dubbed the Karbonn Titanium S9 Lite.

The Dual-Sim (GSM + GSM) Karbonn Titanium S9 Lite features a 5.5-inch qHD (540×960 pixel) display, powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core (unspecified chipset) processor, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of inbuilt storage (expandable up to 32GB via microSD card support. The smartphone sports a 8.1MP rear facing camera with LED flash support and a 2MP front-facing camera also onboard.

The karbonn Titanium S9 Lite runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Beans OS and powered by a 2100mAh Li-Ion battery. Connectivity options on Karbonn Titanium S9 Lite smartphone include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. It also comes with G-sensor, proximity sensor, and an ambient light sensor.

The Karbonn Titanium S9 Lite is available and listed on Snapdeal at a retail price tag of Rs. 8990 (around N25,000 in Naira) and available in Black and White colour variant.

Last week, Karbonn launched a budget Android smartphone, the Karbonn A50s for a price tag of around ₦8,200.

The Karbonn A50s offers dual-sim support and runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS. The smartphone features a 3.5-inch TFT LCD display with HVGA (320×480 pixels) resolution, 1.2GHz processor, 256MB of RAM, 2MP rear camera with LED flash, 0.3MP front-facing camera.
