The Asus Zenfone 2 was one of the best devices unveiled at the CES 2015 in January. The taiwanese smartphone maker made sure it stole the headlines with a very capable device using 4GB RAM.
However the device would have a lower end model which would come with 5-inch display. The 5-inch Asus Zenfone 2 is priced at $199 and expected to go on sale around March in Red colour option at first.
Moving to the specs, the 5-inch Asus Zenfone 2 features a 5-inch display as the name states but this time around with a (1280 x 720 pixels) HD resolution. Under the hood, we have an Intel Atom processor with 2GB of RAM, support for LTE connectivity and Android 5.0 Lollipop OS with Zen UI ontop.
Asus has no officially announced this variant of the device so we’ll advise you take it with a pinch of salt. But it is highly more dependable as the photos above size up the original Zenfone 2 with 5.5-inch display and the 5-inch version.
