5-inch Moto G2 rumored to launch by September 10 for a €250 price tag

Apparent successor to the Motorola Moto G, rumoured to be the Motorola Moto G2 or Moto G+1 has been confirmed would be available for purchase by September.

The report states that the Dual-SIM Moto G with 5″ display will be available officially by September 10. The reports even went further stating that some retailer would get the device as early as the last week in August but it is uncertain if they will be allowed to sell until September.

Details of the Motorola G2 (Moto G+1) has been spotted via benchmark listing. The device would feature a 5-inch 720p display, powered by a a Snapdragon 400 chipset with a quad-core 1.2GHz Cortex-A7 CPU with Adreno 305 GPU, 1GB of RAM, 8GB internal storage (no word on microSD card slot). There is also a 8MP rear camera with 720p video recording, 2MP front camera for video chats, and Android 4.4.4 KitKat out of the box.

With a september release date, the Motorola G2 should be made official at the IFA 2014 in September; the same time frame the Motorola X+1 is said to make its debut.

Another interesting thing to note is its price tag, reports confirm a €250 price which is almost double that of the original Moto G and about 25 percent more expensive than the Moto G with 4G LTE connectivity.
