Coolpad is a familiar name from China, the company which make smartphones as well as tablets is also the parent brand to the Dazen series of devices. A new smartphone from Coolpad – the Coolpad 8692-A00 has been spotted on TENAA database.
The phablet sized Coolpad 8692-A00 has a slightly rounded metal body frame, the bezels at the side of the screen are minimal and is available in Black, Gold and White Silver colours. It measures 157.6 x 79.8 x 8.65mm in dimensions and the weighs is around 185 grams which iunderstandable.
One feature of note is the Dual-Camera setup on the rear, the main camera is a 13MP snapper with the LED flash also obvious, the front camera is a 8MP snapper for selfies and just below the main camera lies the fingerprint scanner.
The Coolpad 8692-A00 sports a 6-inch TFT display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (FHD), powered by a hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor clocked at 1.8GHz paired with 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage space and there is a microSD card slot which supports cards up to 64GB.
Connectivity options on the device includes GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and 4G LTE/3G HSPA+. The device supports GSM, CDMA, TD-SCDMA, TD-LTE, LTE FDD and WCDMA networks with most of the bands meant for China. There is no word on the battery capacity but it runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS.
