Virtually anybody would be able to afford a tablet anytime soon as more and more affordable tablets are trooping into the market. E Fun has announced a similar affordable Android Kitkat slate, the E Fun Nextbook NX700QC16G with decent specs at least on paper.
At just $79 () the E Fun Nextbook NX700QC16G features a 7-inch 1024 x 600 pixels resolution display, powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT8127 processor clocked at 1.6GHz coupled with 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage and a microSD card slot for memory expansion (u to 64GB). The device also sport a front facing VGA camera and built-in speakers.
The E Fun NX700QC16G measures 192 x 112 x 9.3mm, runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat OS and powered by an unspecified rechargeable lithium-ion battery. Connectivity options on the device includes GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, Built in Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, 3-axis G sensor, micro USB 2.0 port and micro HDMI port.
On the software side the device, the device runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat OS as stated above; and also comes with a host of apps including the Barnes and Noble NOOK for Android app (Nook eBook store), Walmart.com, Vudu, Cloudlink, Flixter, Net Nanny, Youtube, Google Play and a couple of other pre-installed apps.
The E Fun Nextbook NX700QC16G has not seen too many reviews, to get tour hand on the tablet the device is only available on Walmart For $79 (that’s less than N14,000 in Naira) in Black colour option.
