Chinese Smartphone manufacturers are all making so much buzz in the indian market. First it was the MI3 from Xiaomi, Huawei has followed suit with a 7-inch tablet of it own known as the Mediapad 7 Youth2. The tablet also offer voice calling support which means you can make calls as well as surf the net.
The Huawei Mediapad 7 Youth2 features a 7-inch (1024 x 600 pixels) capactive display, powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage (expandable up to 32GB via microSD card), 3MP rear camera and a front facing VGA camera for video calling.
The Huawei Mediapad 7 Youth2 runs on Android 4.3 jelly bean OS with Huawei’s Emotion UI 1.6 ontop; the Jelly Bean OS is now dated, there is however no word if the device would be upgraded to Android 4.4 Kitkat OS. Other features include – 3G, Wi-Fi, aGPS, Bluetooth, micro-USB, Built-in-mic, Speaker. The device is also powered by a 4100mAh battery.
A price tag of Rs 10,999 (around N30,000 in Naira) has been placed on the Huawei Mediapad 7 Youth2, and the device can be purchased through online retailers – Amazon, Infibeam and Flipkart in Champagne and Black colour variants.
