Indian Local manufacturer, Karbonn has announced a new affordable Android tablet with voice calling capability, Dual-SIM functionality and 3G connectivity in form of the Karbonn ST72.
The Karbonn ST72 is available for a $110 (Rs 6800) price tag from Snapdeal in Black, Grey and White colour options. The device features a 7-inch 1024 x 600 pixels resolution display and runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat OS.
Under the hood is a 1.3GHz dual-core (unspecified chipset) processor with 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage and a microSD card slot for expansion purpose (up to 32GB). On the rear is a 3.2MP camera and a front facing camera (VGA).
The Karbonn ST72 measures 184.5 x 100 x 8.9mm, weighs 290 grams; has Bluetooth, 3G, GPS, 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi connectivity options. As it is with on all devices (smartphone or tablet) launched in India you get a FM Radio and the device uses a 2800mAh battery to keep the device running.
