Lava has launched the Lava Xtron Z704, a new 7-inch sized Android 4.4 Kitkat in the Xtron series. The tablet with quad-core SoC, 16GB of internal storage and support 2G connectivity but no word on its voice calling capability.
The Lava Xtron Z704 features a 7-inch (1024 x 600 pixels) capacitive multi-touch display, powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor, 1GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, a microSD card for memory expansion (up to 32GB) and runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat OS.
On the rear is a 2MP shooter and a front facing VGA camera is also onboard. Connectivity options on the Lava Xtron Z704 includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB, GPS and HDMI, supports 2G (EDGE) but there’s no word on voice-calling features. It packs in a beefy 4,000mAh battery under the hood.

The Lava Xtron Z704 has a Rs. 6499 price tag and would be available in White colour option. It is said to be available for sale across all national retail stores and multi-brand outlets across India.
Lava recently launched the Ivory E tablet with a 7-inch display, dual-SIM card slots and runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. The device is powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core MediaTek processor, paired with a Mali 400 GPU and 1GB RAM. Other features includes – 4GB internal memory, a microSD card slot, 2MP rear camera, a front facing VGA snapper, 2G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 2500mAh.
