The Micromax Canvas Tab P480 is the latest voice calling tablet from the company’s Canvas Tab series. The 7-inch voice calling tablet succeeds the Micromax Canvas Tab P470. It comes pre-loaded with apps such as Saavn, TrueCaller, Hello TV and MAd app.
Moving to the specs, the Micromax Canvas Tab P480 sports a 7-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels and is powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz (possibly by Mediatek) with 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage space and for additional storage, there is a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 32GB.
Handling photography issues is a 5-megapixels camera with LED flash and a front facing 2-megapixels camera for selfies and video chats. The voice caling tablet has Dual SIM slots, supports voice calls in both SIMs, boots Android 4.4 Kitkat OS out-of-the-box (upgradeable to Android 5.0 Lollipop OS). It is backed by a rather moderate 3000mAh battery.
Connectivity options on the Micromax Canvas Tab P480 includes – 3G, GPS, Bluetooth, GPS and 802.1 b/g/n Wi-Fi. It would be available in coming days (last week of April) in White and Blue colour options for a price tag of Rs 6999 ($110).
