China-based rugged device maker, No. 1 has released a 7-inch Android tablet – the No.1 X5. The rugged tablet is housed in a rugged shell with screws in place, scratchproof, shockproof as well as being resistant to both corrosion and pressure. It is also IP67 certified for water and dust resistance.
Believed to be the first rugged tablet from the company, the No.1 X5 sports a 7-inch IPS multi-touch display with 1280 x 800 pixels (WXGA) screen resolution, powered by a quad-core Mediatek MT8732V processor clocked at 1.3GHz with 2GB of RAM and 16GB built-in storage space.
In the camera segment, there is a front facing 2-megapixels camera and a rear facing 13-megapixels camera with LED flash. For performing its voice calling function and cellular, the slate has Dual SIM slots with Dual Standby and supports 2G, 3G & 4G LTE networks.
Other connectivity options onboard includes – Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, USB OTG and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n. The No.1 X5 runs the now dated Android 4.4. Kitkat OS and backed by an ample-sized 10000mAh battery which should last several hours of usage.
