After announcing the Samsung Galaxy A Series family (8-inch and 9.7-inch) in a quiet event in Russia, Samsung has taken the wraps off a budget slate and this time in Malaysia. The tablet is the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V which is aimed at first time tablet buyers.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V is said to be the successor of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Neo and is said to be the same as the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite Wi-Fi which is available in the Netherlands. The device sports a 7-inch TN display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels. It is powered by a quad-core 1.3GHz processor from Spreadtrum with 1GB of RAM, 8GB space of internal storage and a microSD card slot for storage expansion.
Other specs details of the Galaxy Tab 3 V includes – Wi-Fi, SIM card slot, FM Radio, front and rear 2MP camera, Android 4.4 kitkat OS and is backed by a 3600mAh battery.

The tablet is available in White and Black colour option and sells in Malaysia for RM 499 ($135) in Samsung Experience Stores and Authorised dealers in the country.
