Samsung has listed the budget-based 7-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab 3V tablet on Samsung’s official store in India. It is priced at Rs 10,600 ($167) in White and Black colours and even though it is currently listed as out-of-stock, it will go on sale in coming days.
The Samsung Galaxy 3V was announced in Malaysia back in March for a price equivalent to $135 (RM 499). It basically a budget based tablet targeted at first time users and it specs points to that end.
It features a 7-inch (1024 x 600 pixels) WSVGA TFT display and is powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz. Handling tasks is 1GB of RAM and there is 8GB space of internal storage space with a microSD card slot for storage expansion (up to 32GB).
There is a 5MP camera on the rear without flash and no front facing camera. The slate comes with a Single SIM slot, FM Radio and has voice calling capabilities. Connectivity options includes – WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, WiFi Direct, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, GLONASS and 3G.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3V measures 193.4 x 116.4 x 9.7 mm in dimensions, weighs 322 grams, runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat OS with the company’s TouchWiz UI ontop and is backed by a 3600mAh battery.
