WickedLeak has announced a new budget tablet, the Wickedleak Wammy Desire 3 with 3G connectivity support, voice calling feature and Android 4.4 Kitkat OS is the operating system under the hood. The affordable budget slate is said to be available exclusively on the company’s official store for a price tag of Rs 5990 (~ US$ 98).

The Wickedleak Wammy Desire 3 features a 7-inch IPS display with 1024 x 600 pixels screen resolution, powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT8389 processor clocked at 1.3GHz with Mali 400 GPU, 1GB of RAM, 8GB inbuilt storage space and for additional storage space, a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 32GB.
For photography, there is a rear facing 2-megapixel rear camera and front 0.3-megapixel (VGA) camera. The tablet comes with Dual SIM support, voice calling functionality and 3G support. Asides 3G, other connectivity options onboard includes – Bluetooth, GPS/A-GPS, Micro USB and WI-Fi 802.11 b/g/n.
As mentioned above the Wammy Desire 3 runs on Android 4.4 kitkat OS and packs a 3000mAh battery which is tipped to provide up to 5 hours of talk time and about 168 hours of standby time. The Wickedleak Wammy Desire 3 would be up against the already announced Mercury MTab Star M830G and Swipe Slice tablet which are both affordable tablets.
