There is no shortage of voice calling tablets in the market but iBall won’t mind anyway. The company has just added the iBall Slide Wings – a 8-inch Dual SIM enabled voice calling slate to the well known slide series and it is available across India in Grey colour option.
Priced at Rs. 7999 (US$ 119), the iBall Slide Wings sports a 8-inch display with 1280 x 800 pixels resolution and is backed by a 4300mAh battery which should last some hours of usage. It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS and is powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz with ARM Mali-400 GPU.
The tablet packs 2GB of RAM and 16GB built-in storage space, which is expandable up to 32GB via the microSD slot. In the camera segment, there is a rear facing 5MP AutoFocus camera with LED flash and is capable of taking up to 8MP photos; and a front facing 2MP camera for selfies.
Connectivity options onboard include – 3G HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, USB OTG, and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n. The iBall Slide Wings supports 9 regional system languages and multilingual keyboard with 21 regional language support. It is also pre-loaded with app and games such as Facebook, Hungama, TOI, Danger Dast, Asphalt Nitro, Hungama Play and others.
