Leaks Phablet Phones Rumours

Supposed Samsung Galaxy S6 Plus Could be the Galaxy S6 Note

Some weeks ago, details of a Samsung Galaxy S6 Plus smartphone popped up with Hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 chipset under the hood. The unannounced device is expected to have a phablet sized display and Dual Edge display as the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge.

There is a new twist in the Galaxy S6 Plus story as the device is tipped to arrive in the markets as the Samsung Galaxy S6 Note. Samsung filling a trademark for the Samsung Galaxy S6 Note name in South Korea adds more credibility to the report. The device would join the company’s Note Series of devices.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 Note (Galaxy S6 Plus) would also be a stylus-based device, using the line’s S-Pen functionality. As mentioned earlier, the device would use the Hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 SoC with Adreno 418 GPU instead of the in-house made Exynos 7420 used by this year’s Samsung flagships.‎

The rest of the supposed specs of the device includes – 5.5-inch (2560 x 1440 pixels) QHD Dual Edge display, 3GB of RAM, rear facing 16-megapixels camera with OIS, front facing 5-megapixels camera for selfies and 32GB internal storage space. The device is tipped to go official at the IFA 2015 event happening later this year.
